Can a minor come in for services? Yes! Anyone under 18 years old will need a parent/guardian signed consent form for any massage services. Anyone ages 13 and younger must have a parent/guardian in the room for any services. Ages 14-15 must have a parent/guardian stay in the room OR in the waiting area until the service is complete. Ages 16-17 can decide whether they would like their parent/guardian to stay but it is not required. No one under the age of 16 is allowed into the infrared sauna. Anyone under 18 must have parental consent and a doctors note.
Can I book services if I’m pregnant? Yes!! Please book any of our pregnancy safe services that we have listed on our booking site. For example, we offer prenatal massages and facials that are safe for both mom and baby. If you fill out our form and mention that you are pregnant we will have to change your service to a pregnancy safe service. Brazilian and bikini waxes are also available to expecting moms but be aware the area may be more sensitive due to hormone changes.
What products do you use? In the facial rooms we carry Jan Marini skin care which is a clinical grade formula. If you are aware of any allergies or sensitivities please mention it to your service provider so we can assure you will not have any reactions. We also carry Farm House Fresh organic skin care for more sensitive skin. This line is made with 99.7% natural ingredients, so please alert your provider of ANY known allergies including all food allergies.
What do I do if I’ve had a reaction to products? We can offer patch testing 24 hours prior to any appointment. Everyone’s skin is different and can react many different ways to products. If you are experiencing discomfort during your service please alert your provider immediately so they can proceed accordingly. Minor discomfort may occur from more potent products such as retinols, chemical peels, laminations, or tints. The chemicals in these are made to alter the skin but if something does not feel right please be sure to alert your provider. We cannot always predict how someone’s skin may react to product so do not feel uncomfortable letting your provider know something doesn’t feel right.
Can I get services done if it’s my time of the month? Absolutely! Massages, facials, and waxes can all be done during menstruation. We have restrooms available at all times with sanitary products, so please feel free to use them prior to your appointment. If, for any reason, you need to excuse yourself during a service please do not feel uncomfortable, we all go through it! Be aware some services such as Brazilian or bikini waxes may be more sensitive.
Can I book a treatment with an active infection? Please call us if you have any questions concerning active infections! We cannot offer services for anyone with an active fungal infection, HSV1 outbreak, or open cuts/wounds. We take sanitation and the health of our clients and staff very seriously and do not want to risk anyone’s health in the treatment room!
Should I bring a doctors note? Depending on any conditions you may have listed on your intake form we may request a note from your PCP or surgeon. Please note this is for YOUR safety. We reserve the right to request doctors notes for any condition you may have listed including pregnancy, past surgeries, past and/or present conditions.
